OVER 99% FILTRATION EFFICIENCY

Our H12 grade HEPA filter captures particles down to 0.01 microns.
PECO breaks down the compounds that would otherwise slip through the HEPA filtration process.

  1. H12 HEPA filter: HEPA filter is our first filtration step and already captures the majority of the pollutants and other harmful particles down to 0.01 microns.
  2. TiO2 (PECO) coating initiates a chemical reaction (with UV-light) which creates mini compounds called hydroxyl radicals. These mini compounds then react with bigger harmful chemicals/compounds (like VOCs and viruses) and chop them down to harmless compounds.
  3. Ionizer (PECO): Negative ionizer enhances the filtration efficiency of UV-light and TiO2 coating.
  4. UV-A LEDs finalizes the chemical reaction (with TiO2 coating) which creates mini compounds called hydroxyl radicals. These mini compounds then react with bigger harmful chemicals/compounds (like VOCs and viruses) and chop them down to harmless compounds.

DEVELOPMENT

The idea for 6G was simple: to take the best air purification technology and to see how a small space we can fit it in. Compressing all the state-of-art technology into the size of a smartphone was a big challenge. Besides superior function, we wanted 6G to be ergonomic to use.

NO HARMFUL OZONE EMISSIONS

Ozone is a dangerous by product of certain UV lights, which can emit ozone directly into your breathing air. Ozone is also a hot topic in the air purification industry at the moment. We went ahead and tested 6G for ozone emissions. The results speak for themselves = 6G does not emit any harmful ozone.

WE SPENT OVER 2 YEARS DEVELOPING THE 6G

We wanted to include a traditional HEPA filter to trap the most common air pollutants and try to combine this with the state-of-art PECO filtration process. This combination of technologies eventually ended up becoming our patented 6G method.

After months of prototyping and testing, the concept for the first 6G device started to take shape. Then the whole world got caught off guard with the COVID-19 pandemic. While dealing with the world-wide lockdowns and ramping up our parent company’s mask production, we started to direct more resources into bringing the 6G into the market as fast as possible.

By the end of 2020 we were ready to launch 6GCool on Kickstarter. The campaign was an immediate success and paved the way for the first production batch of the product, which started shipping in the beginning of 2021.
